Over the course of three-plus decades, Brian has successfully advised, coached, and developed hundreds of leaders, across multiple industries - from CEOs to C-Suite executives, to fast-tracked high potentials and succession candidates, and newly promoted or hired senior leaders.

Having been a Chief Human Resources Officer, an enterprise C-Suite executive, and Chief Talent Officer at several Fortune 500 companies, Brian understands first-hand the unique challenges and demands executives, especially Chief People Officers, deal with day-to-day, and what it takes to succeed.  He uses his extensive real-life experiences in the Executive and Board rooms to deliver relevant and practical coaching and advise to senior leaders on a variety of strategic human resources and business matters.

Brian’s passion for helping individuals unleash their full potential and impact is reflected in his approach to coaching and advising executives.  While Brian tailors his approach to each individual unique situation and business context, he is known for his pragmatism, directness, candor, curiosity, and supportive and collaborative style.

Brian’s own leadership experience stems from his years serving as Chief Human Resources Officer at KeyBank (a $190B in assets and $6.5B revenue company) where he played a pivotal role in leading and navigating the company through volatile and challenging times, including significantly enhanced regulatory environment, the financial crisis of 2023, Covid pandemic, and societal upheavals. Brian also served as KeyBank’s Chief Talent Officer and Head of Executive and Talent Development during his time with the firm.

Prior to KeyBank, Brian spent 15 years in various leadership positions with Bank of America, including serving as the Global Head of Executive and Leader Development, where he specialized in talent management, culture integration, and executive assessment and development. His expertise was further honed through his global HR roles at The Coca-Cola Company and Pizza Hut, at the time a subsidiary of PepsiCo.
